Furkan Ali

Mr. Furkan Ali is a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies and a Barrister at Law. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and a member of the Bar in the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Furkan Ali, has experience in advising and representing leading international air carriers such as Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways and insurance companies in the High Court of Sindh in relation to air passenger liability issues and insurance claims. He also extensively advises and represents the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, multinational corporations and local companies in Pakistan on matters pertaining to company law, contract and employment law. Mr. Ali has assisted senior counsels in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in some of Pakistan’s leading cases and in 2013, served as a full-time consultant to the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Justice (Retd.) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim. He has also been engaged by the Hague Institute for Global Justice to contribute in the International Labour Case Law Journal.

Furkan specializes in employment law, aviation law, insurance law, civil and corporate litigation, and constitutional law. He has been recognized in the Legal 500 for his work in relation to insurance, regulatory and corporate matters.
